The XRS™ Connect range are the first ever UHF CB radios with app control, introducing new features such as creating and sharing scan lists, and instant access to the entire Australian and New Zealand commercial analogue frequency database.

As with many other smart devices, XRS™ Connect products are software upgradable via the app, keeping your radio up to date with the latest features and technology.

The XRS™ Connect App for Android and iOS offers a number of additional features, exclusive to the XRS™ Connect range of radios.

 The XRS™ Connect App allows users to easily manage settings, download firmware updates, create custom scan lists, and track the GPS location of other XRS™ users through the use of XRS™ Location Services technology.

Users are also able to send, receive and display a short text ‘status’ on the tail of transmissions, selecting from either pre-defined or user-defined statuses.

The XRS™ Connect app also features offline map caching, giving users the option to download and store detailed topographic maps – ensuring accurate map display in areas with no cellular coverage.

XRS™ Connect Active Mute allows users to manually mute the radio when receiving a phone call to their mobile phone. The XRS™ Connect App is able to detect incoming phone calls and automatically mute the XRS™ Connect radio for the duration of the call, ensuring uninterrupted phone conversations. 

XRS™ Connect Active Mute uses smart phone and Bluetooth technology to either mute or lower the XRS™ Connect radio volume automatically when the user makes or receives a phone call. This allows the user to focus on their conversation rather than manually adjusting the volume on the XRS™ Connect radio. 

XRS™ Connect Voice Playback, enables users to record all voice transmissions received from other radios. Ideal for noisy cabins or for users who are in and out of their vehicles, this feature makes missing transmissions an issue of the past. 

XRS™ Connect Voice Playback records and stores the first 30 seconds of each received transmission, with a total recording time of 12 minutes. This exciting feature is available in every XRS™ Connect model through the XRS™ Connect smartphone app.

Dual-Watch

Dual-Watch allows users to quickly program a small scan group to monitor two channels, with additional scan time for your selected priority channel. This allows users to keep track of their own group channel, plus a secondary channel as well. Dual-watch can also be set to a programable button for added convenience. 

Auto Power-Down

Auto Power-Down allows users to select various parameters that will automatically power-down XRS™ Connect UHF CB mobile radios when connected to a permanent 12V power source. Auto Power-down timeframe can be adjusted from 30 minutes up to 3 hours with the time being reset after receiving a transmission. This is a fantastic feature for saving battery life when a radio is wired directly to the vehicle’s battery. 

Roger Beep

Roger Beep is an end-of-transmission acknowledgement that is automatically transmitted whenever the PTT is released, advising receiving parties that a transmission is complete. This user selectable feature has been added to XRS™ Connect UHF CB radios to meet on-site safety requirements within certain industries.
